Terms of Service
Last updated: October 14, 2026
Welcome to Zip Player ("the Service", "the Application", "we", "our", or "us"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our website, applications, software, licensing infrastructure, reseller dashboard, and related services (collectively, the "Service").
These Terms incorporate by reference the following documents, which form part of these Terms: our End User License Agreement, our Refund Policy, our Cookie Policy, and, for resellers, our Reseller Agreement. Our Privacy Policy describes how we process personal information.
By accessing or using the Service, purchasing a license, or creating an account, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service or purchase a license.
1. About the Service
Zip Player is an IPTV media player that allows users to access and play media through third-party IPTV providers and media sources configured using user-supplied credentials, playlists, or other supported connection information.
The Application does not provide, host, sell, retransmit, distribute, or license television channels, movies, series, or other audiovisual content. We are not an IPTV service provider and do not include an IPTV subscription or media content with the Application.
You are responsible for obtaining your own media sources and ensuring that your access to and use of any content complies with applicable laws and the rights of relevant content owners.
We do not control third-party IPTV providers, playlists, streams, servers, or content. We do not guarantee their availability, legality, accuracy, quality, compatibility, or continued operation.
2. Eligibility
You must have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement under the laws applicable to you. The Service is not directed at children below the minimum age at which they may independently use the Service under applicable law. If you use the Service on behalf of a business or organization, you represent that you are authorized to accept these Terms on its behalf.
You agree to use the Service in compliance with applicable laws and not to use it for unlawful purposes.
3. Accounts and Security
Certain features may require an account or registration through our website or another interface we provide.
You agree to:
- Provide accurate information when required;
- Keep your account credentials secure;
- Notify us of suspected unauthorized access;
- Remain responsible for activity conducted through your account, except where applicable law provides otherwise.
If you participate in our reseller program, your use of the reseller dashboard and related functionality is also governed by the Reseller Agreement.
We may take reasonable measures to protect accounts, prevent fraud, and maintain the integrity of our licensing systems.
4. Free Trial
The Application offers a seven-day trial, subject to availability and the conditions presented when the trial is activated.
The trial allows you to evaluate the Application before purchasing a license. We strongly encourage you to test the Application on your intended device and with your own IPTV provider before making a purchase.
The trial is associated with the device on which it is activated. Reinstalling the Application does not entitle you to a new trial on the same device. We may use device identifiers and other technical measures to prevent repeated trials or abuse of the trial system. Where we retain a hashed representation of a device identifier for this purpose, we do so for up to one year, as described in our Privacy Policy.
When the trial expires, continued access to licensed features requires the purchase and successful activation of an appropriate license.
We may modify trial availability or eligibility for future users, subject to applicable law and any commitments already made to existing users.
5. Licenses
We offer the following license types:
- Annual licenses;
- One-time licenses (also referred to as perpetual licenses).
Annual licenses: An annual license is valid for one year from the date on which payment is successfully completed. Because your license is activated automatically upon successful payment, this period begins at purchase.
One-time licenses (also referred to as perpetual licenses): A one-time license permits use of the licensed features on a perpetual basis, subject to these Terms. "Perpetual" means the license has no fixed expiration date and remains in force for the lifetime of the product, subject to the termination and discontinuation provisions in these Terms. It is not a guarantee that the product or every associated service will exist indefinitely. See Section 13 for what happens if we discontinue the product.
Unless expressly stated otherwise at purchase, each license is limited to one device. Licenses are bound to the device on which they are activated and cannot ordinarily be transferred to another device.
Replacing a device, including because of hardware failure, does not automatically entitle you to a replacement license. If a license was activated on the wrong device because of an activation error, you may contact support to request a correction. Any such correction is subject to verification and does not establish a general right to transfer licenses.
A license grants a limited right to use the applicable licensed features. It does not transfer ownership of the Application or its intellectual property.
The license type, duration, device entitlement, and price applicable to your purchase are those presented at checkout. We will not retroactively change the commercial terms of an existing license to materially reduce the rights purchased, except where required or permitted by applicable law.
Nothing in this section limits any mandatory rights or remedies available under applicable law.
6. Payments and Pricing
We offer three purchase channels: the companion app distributed on Google Play, direct purchases through our website, and manual invoicing for reseller credit purchases. The rules below describe each channel.
Google Play purchases. Licenses purchased through our companion app on Google Play are processed by Google. Google acts as the merchant of record for those transactions and handles payment collection, applicable taxes, and refunds under Google Play's policies. Your use of Google Play is also subject to Google's own terms.
Direct website purchases. Licenses purchased through our website may be processed by a third-party payment provider acting as merchant of record, or by Zero Overhead Labs LLC directly. The identity of the merchant of record for a transaction is indicated during checkout where applicable. Your transaction may also be subject to the applicable payment provider's terms and policies.
Manual invoicing (resellers). Reseller credit purchases are handled by invoice. Once we receive and confirm your payment, we deposit the corresponding credits into your reseller wallet. Zero Overhead Labs LLC is the merchant of record for manual invoicing transactions.
We do not intentionally store full payment card details for direct or reseller purchases. Payment information is handled by the relevant payment provider, Google, or our bank, as applicable.
Prices, available payment methods, and applicable taxes are presented during the purchase process. Prices for future purchases may change. A price change does not retroactively change the amount paid for an existing license.
7. Activation
Purchased licenses are activated automatically upon successful payment and are available for use after activation through our activation system. There is no separate step in which you pay for a license and activate it later.
Activation may require information generated by the Application on your device, including a device identifier or activation code. You must provide accurate activation information and use the activation system only for authorized purposes.
We may reject, suspend, or investigate activation requests when reasonably necessary to address suspected fraud, unauthorized access, abuse, or technical problems.
If an activation fails because of a technical problem attributable to us, contact support so that we can investigate and provide an appropriate remedy, subject to applicable law.
8. Refunds and Cancellations
Refund eligibility depends on how you purchased your license.
Google Play purchases. If you purchased a license through our companion app on Google Play, refund eligibility is determined by Google Play's refund policy. Google Play may issue refunds on its own initiative where required by its policies. Where Google Play issues a refund, we will revoke the corresponding license in our system. We cannot override Google Play's refund decisions.
Direct website purchases. Because licenses are activated at purchase, direct purchases are generally final and non-refundable, except as expressly provided in our Refund Policy or where a refund or other remedy is required by applicable law. Where required by applicable law, at checkout you expressly consent to immediate delivery of the digital license and acknowledge that you lose any statutory right of withdrawal once the license is activated.
Reseller credit purchases. Reseller credits are business-to-business transactions. Credit purchases are final and non-refundable, except where required by applicable law. See the Reseller Agreement for details.
We encourage all customers to use the free trial to evaluate compatibility, functionality, and suitability before purchasing a license.
Activation of a license does not eliminate any mandatory statutory cancellation rights, remedies for defective digital content or services, or other rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Duplicate charges, activation errors, technical failures, and other purchase-related issues may be reported to support for investigation. Verified duplicate purchases will generally be refunded, subject to verification and applicable law.
The detailed conditions and procedures for refunds are set out in our Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
9. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service in violation of applicable law;
- Attempt unauthorized access to our systems or infrastructure;
- Interfere with the operation, security, or integrity of the Service;
- Bypass, defeat, or manipulate licensing or activation mechanisms;
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Application, except where such activity cannot lawfully be prohibited;
- Distribute unauthorized modified versions of the Application;
- Use automated systems to abuse activation or licensing services;
- Commit fraud or misrepresent your identity or authorization;
- Use the Service to facilitate unlawful access to protected content.
10. Third-Party IPTV Services and Content
The Application is a media player only. We do not operate or control third-party IPTV providers, media servers, playlists, streams, or content.
We do not guarantee that any particular provider, playlist, stream, or content source will work with the Application or remain available.
We are not responsible for interruptions, cancellations, changes, or failures originating from third-party providers, except to the extent responsibility cannot lawfully be excluded.
You are responsible for ensuring that you have the necessary rights and permissions to access and use third-party content.
11. Intellectual Property
The Application and its software, source code, branding, graphics, documentation, trademarks, and other associated intellectual property are owned by or licensed to Zero Overhead Labs LLC.
Purchasing a license grants you only the limited right to use the applicable licensed features in accordance with these Terms. It does not transfer ownership of the Application or any intellectual property.
You may not use our trademarks, branding, or other intellectual property in a misleading manner or in a way that falsely suggests sponsorship, endorsement, or affiliation.
12. Software Updates and Compatibility
We may release updates, bug fixes, security improvements, and new features. Software updates are independent of license ownership and may be provided to users whether or not they currently hold a valid license. New features introduced after your license expires may not be available to you.
Access to licensed features remains subject to the applicable license.
Some updates may be necessary for security, compatibility, or continued operation. We will make reasonable efforts to maintain the Application across supported devices and operating systems, but we cannot guarantee compatibility with every device, operating system version, or third-party service. Updates will not materially reduce the core functionality of a license you have purchased, except where required for security, legal, or platform-compliance reasons.
13. Availability and Product Discontinuation
We aim to provide a reliable Service but cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability. Maintenance, infrastructure failures, security incidents, third-party dependencies, and circumstances beyond our reasonable control may affect the Service.
The Application may rely on activation infrastructure or other services that we operate. Temporary unavailability of such infrastructure may affect activation or other online functionality.
If we permanently discontinue the product, we may, where technically and contractually feasible (including any approvals required from third-party platform distributors such as Google Play or Samsung), make reasonable efforts to release a final version designed to allow existing license holders to continue using their licensed features without depending on our activation server.
Where technically feasible, we also intend to include functionality allowing users to update their IPTV connection information directly on their devices.
Any such shutdown release is subject to technical feasibility, device and operating system compatibility, and any approvals required from third-party platform distributors. We will make reasonable efforts to obtain necessary approvals but cannot guarantee that they will be granted or that every device will support the final version.
Nothing in this section excludes any refund, compensation, or other remedy required by applicable law.
14. Disclaimer of Warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties that may otherwise be implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, compatible with every device, or compatible with every third-party IPTV provider.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits a warranty, guarantee, or statutory right that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
15. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Zero Overhead Labs LLC shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, or consequential damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, business opportunities, or anticipated savings arising from the use of the Service.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for:
- Failures or interruptions originating from third-party IPTV providers;
- Third-party content or media sources supplied by users;
- Losses resulting from a user's unlawful access to third-party content;
- Incompatibility with unsupported devices or systems;
- Service interruptions caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the affected license or Service shall not exceed the amount paid to us for that license.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. This includes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, liability for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, liability for willful misconduct or gross negligence, and any other liability for which applicable law prohibits contractual limitation.
16. Suspension and Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to the Service where reasonably necessary to address:
- Material violations of these Terms;
- Fraudulent purchases or payment reversals;
- Unauthorized access or activation;
- Abuse of the licensing or activation system;
- Security threats or unlawful activity.
Where appropriate and reasonably practicable, we may provide notice and an opportunity to resolve a violation before terminating access. Immediate action may be necessary in cases involving suspected fraud, security risks, or ongoing abuse.
We will consider relevant circumstances when determining the appropriate response. Any suspension, termination, or license revocation remains subject to applicable law and any mandatory rights you may have.
17. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms to reflect changes in the Service, security requirements, legal obligations, or business operations.
We will publish the updated Terms and revise the last-updated date. Where required by law, or where a change materially affects existing users, we will provide appropriate notice or obtain any required consent.
Changes to pricing, available products, or license types for future purchases will not, by themselves, change the commercial terms of licenses already purchased.
We will not use an update to these Terms to retroactively remove or materially reduce rights already purchased, except where required by law or otherwise permitted under these Terms and applicable law.
18. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms and any dispute arising out of or relating to the Service shall be governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
Subject to applicable mandatory law, the parties agree to submit to the jurisdiction of the competent courts located in the State of Wyoming, United States.
Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or waives any consumer rights, protections, or procedural rights that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted, or waived under applicable law. Where mandatory law grants you the right to bring proceedings in another jurisdiction, this section does not remove that right.
19. Privacy
Our collection and use of personal information are described in our Privacy Policy, which explains the information we collect, the purposes for which we use it, and the applicable rights and choices available to users.
By using the Service, you acknowledge that information may be processed as described in our Privacy Policy, subject to applicable law.
20. General Provisions
Entire agreement. These Terms, together with the policies expressly incorporated into them, govern your use of the Service and supersede prior agreements concerning the same subject matter, except where otherwise agreed in writing.
Severability. If any provision of these Terms is found unlawful, invalid, or unenforceable, that provision shall be enforced to the maximum extent permitted by law or, where necessary, severed. The remaining provisions will continue in effect.
No waiver. Our failure to enforce a provision of these Terms does not constitute a waiver of our right to enforce it later.
Assignment. You may not transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms in a manner that conflicts with the device restrictions or other provisions of these Terms. We may assign our rights and obligations as part of a merger, reorganization, sale of assets, or similar transaction, subject to applicable law.
Force majeure. We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
Survival. Provisions that by their nature should continue after termination, including provisions concerning intellectual property, liability, and accrued obligations, will survive termination to the extent applicable.
